The Arles is a light, crafted dining chair. Flat leather straps are woven in an open basket weave across its seat and gently curved back, wrapped around a solid oak frame with softly rounded edges. Choose tan leather on natural oak, or black or cognac leather on walnut-stained oak.
The leather gives a little as you sit and darkens gently with use, and slim side stretchers keep the frame steady while the open weave keeps it from looking heavy around a table.
Sold as a set of 2; table not included. Each set is made to order after you place your order, so allow 12–16 weeks from your order date.

How does a custom order work？
Your piece is built for you after you order. You pay a 50% deposit at checkout, we build it in 12–16 weeks from your order date, and we ask for the remaining 50% before delivery.

Allow 12–16 weeks from your order date. In the US we bring it just inside your front door; in Canada, into the room you choose.
Can I cancel my custom order？

Yes. Within 24 hours of placing it, we’ll refund your 50% deposit in full. After that, production of your piece has begun; if you cancel, we’ll refund your deposit less the costs we’ve already incurred for your order, such as materials and work completed.

Custom orders are made just for you, so they aren’t part of our 30-day trial and can’t be returned or exchanged. If your piece arrives damaged, tell us within 3 days of delivery and we’ll arrange a repair or replacement. Full terms are on our Returns Page.
