- Soft-Cornered Top: The 84" x 38" (213 x 97 cm) top has generously rounded corners and a softly rounded edge all the way round, so there are no sharp lines to bump into.
- Sand Oak Finish: Oak and oak veneer are finished in a warm light tan sand tone, with a pale limed wash that shows in the open grain of the legs and stretchers.
- Four Tapered Legs: Four round legs stand straight under the top, set in from the corners, and narrow in a gentle taper over their last few inches to the floor. There is no centre leg.
- Low H-Stretcher: Low down, a stretcher joins the two legs at each end, and one long rail runs between them along the centre line, so the base reads as an H and stays steady.
- Room for Six: Slim aprons run under the long sides only and the stretchers stay close to the floor, leaving both long sides open for three chairs each. Chairs are sold separately.

The story
A long oak table for six, for everyday meals and slow weekend dinners.
Most of a table's life happens between occasions: breakfast at one end, homework at the other, and now and then six around it with the plates cleared and the talk still going. The Bellechasse is sized for all of it, 84 inches long, with slim aprons and a stretcher kept close to the floor so chairs and knees fit along both sides.
Its top is light oak in a sand finish, a warm tan with a pale wash in the grain, and its corners are rounded off. Underneath, four round legs taper toward the floor and a low H-shaped stretcher holds them steady, a quiet mid-century frame that leaves the long sides open.

Rounded Corners, Limed Grain
The top's corners are generously rounded and its edge softly eased all the way round. The sand finish leaves a warm light tan with a pale limed wash in the oak's open grain.
Four Legs, One Low H
Four round legs stand straight and taper near the floor, with no centre leg. A low stretcher joins each pair at the ends, and one long rail runs down the centre between them.

Planning tip. Leave about 36" (90 cm) between the table's edge and the nearest wall or furniture on every side so chairs pull out easily. With the 84" x 38" (213 x 97 cm) top, plan a clear space of about 156" x 110" (396 x 279 cm), roughly 13 × 9 ft. Chairs with seats about 17-18" (43-46 cm) high suit its 30" (76 cm) height.

Are chairs included?
No, chairs are sold separately. At 84" (213 cm) long and 38" (97 cm) wide, the Bellechasse seats six, three along each side. The Bellechasse dining chairs also belong to this collection.

Does the base get in the way of chairs?
Slim aprons run under the long sides only, and the stretchers sit low, close to the floor, with the long one running down the centre of the table, so both long sides stay open for chairs and knees. There are exactly four legs and no centre leg.
