- Solid Acacia Top and Fronts: The top and all four drawer fronts are solid acacia in a warm amber-brown finish, built from short staves so the grain and tone shift from board to board.
- Four Wide Drawers: Four full-width drawers sit one above the other, each 36" W x 13.25" D x 4.75" H inside (91 x 34 x 12 cm), on metal slides.
- Black Edge Pulls: A slim matte black metal pull runs along the top edge of each drawer, centred, so four short dark lines line up down the middle of the front.
- Splayed Side Frames: At each end, a shaped side frame with crisp mitred top corners turns down at the front and back into tapered legs, so four splayed legs lift the case and leave the floor open below.
- Upright Footprint: At 40.9" (104 cm) wide and 41.3" (105 cm) high, its front is as tall as it is wide, so it suits a narrower wall, with room on top for a lamp and a tray.

The story
For a bedroom wall that has room for height, not length.
Not every bedroom has a long wall for a dresser. The Boissière Chest stacks its storage instead: four wide drawers in a single column, on a front as tall as it is wide, so it fits beside a wardrobe, between two windows or in the corner across from the bed.
The top and the drawer fronts are solid acacia built from short staves, lighter and darker pieces side by side, in a warm amber-brown finish. A slim black pull runs along the top of each drawer, and at each end a shaped side frame turns down into two splayed legs, so the chest stands clear of the floor and the room keeps its light.

Planning tip. The Boissière Chest is 40.9" W x 17.7" D x 41.3" H (104 x 45 x 105 cm). Plan on about 4 ft (1.2 m) of wall so it has a little space on each side, and leave about 36" (90 cm) clear in front so you can pull a drawer out and still stand at it. At 41.3" (105 cm) high, its top is a comfortable height for a lamp and a tray; hang a mirror or a piece of art about 8-10" (20-25 cm) above it.
