- Deep, Feather-Blend Seat: Two thick seat cushions, 26" deep and 74" wide between the arms, are high-density foam wrapped in a blend of 50% feather and 50% fibre.
- Slim Track Arms: Narrow, square arms with flat tops sit at 24", well below the back cushions, and stop short of the front so the seat reaches past them.
- Loose, Reversible Cushions: The seat and back cushions lift off and turn over, and their covers come off; two fibre-filled throw pillows are included.
- Tapered Rubberwood Legs: Tall, round rubberwood legs in a walnut-brown finish lift the sofa 6.25" off the floor, with a centre support underneath.
- Made in Canada: Built on a solid hemlock and alder frame with plywood, S-springs and elasticized webbing, to commercial grade and rated for up to 600 lb.

The Friedland is made for sinking in. Its two seat cushions are 26 inches deep and wrapped in a blend of feather and fibre, so there is room to sit back, pull your feet up or stretch out along the 74-inch seat with a book.
Its outline stays crisp: slim track arms with flat tops, a plain upholstered base and tall, tapered rubberwood legs in a walnut-brown finish that show the floor beneath. The pale ivory-oatmeal weave keeps it light against oak, plaster and stone, and two throw pillows come with it.
The design

The Friedland sets deep, soft cushions in a clean mid-century frame. These three details explain how it looks and sits.
Linen-Look Weave, Narrow Seams
Up close, the pale ivory-oatmeal weave shows fine tan flecks, and a narrow seam traces the edges of the arms and the boxed ends of the seat cushions. The tapered legs are rubberwood in a warm walnut-brown finish.
A Seat That Reaches Forward
The two slim track arms stop short of the front, so the two thick seat cushions and the plain base beneath them run past the arm fronts. Two loose back cushions and two throw pillows fill out the back.

Leave about 30" (75 cm) of walkway around it and 16" to 18" (40 to 45 cm) between the seat and a coffee table; the seat itself is 26" (66 cm) deep. Its box measures 84.5" x 40" x 24" (215 x 102 x 61 cm), so check doorways, hallways and stairs first.
