Shipping
- All items within the same order will be shipped together. Estimated delivery time depends on the shipping method selected.
- Once your shipment reaches the local terminal, the carrier will contact you to schedule delivery. For FedEx, UPS, or other small parcel carriers, delivery will follow the tracking log rather than a scheduled appointment.
- Upon delivery, please inspect the items carefully and note any issues on the delivery document before signing.
- Delivery times are estimates. We do not ship to P.O. boxes.
Exchanges
- Contact our Customer Care Team within 3 days of delivery to request an exchange. If your original order shipped free, the return shipping fee of the exchanged item and the original shipping fee apply; you receive store credit for the rest, and shipping on your new item is on us.
Returns
- Eligible items can be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery, in "as-new" condition with all original packaging, hardware and instructions. Assembled, altered or used items can't be accepted.
- If your original order shipped free, the refund excludes the original delivery cost and the return shipping cost.
- Refunds are issued as store credit or to your original payment method once the item reaches our warehouse and is confirmed eligible.
Damaged items
- Notify our Customer Care Team within 3 days of delivery, with photos of the damage to the item and the packaging. We will repair or replace it at no additional cost (one replacement per order).
The story
A warm bed for the early nights of winter.
On winter nights you might be in bed by nine, a book open and the lamps turned low, and that is the whole plan. The Malo is made for those nights. Its warm wood and closed footboard make the bed feel sheltered, a settled place to end the day.
Four woven cane-style panels fill the tall headboard, and a matching band runs across the top of the footboard, both curving gently at the corners. Below the weave, a solid wood panel runs down to the floor and deep side rails continue the line. The weave keeps it light, and the walnut-finish wood keeps it grounded.

Woven Cane, Walnut-Finish Wood
At the foot of the bed, a band of cane-style woven panels sits on top of a solid wood panel in a warm walnut finish, with softly rounded corners. The open weave adds texture and lets light through.
A Grounded, Tailored Frame
Four cane panels fill the tall headboard, and the footboard runs down to the floor as a closed wood panel. Deep side rails join the two for a clean, settled look.
Warm Wood for a Calm Room
The walnut finish suits linen bedding, wool rugs and plaster walls. Twelve slats carry a 5- to 10-inch mattress without a box spring, and the frame holds up to 400 lb.

Do I need a box spring?
No. Twelve pale wood slats over a centre support rail carry the mattress directly. Use a queen mattress 5" to 10" thick. Mattress and bedding are not included.
