The Oudinot is made for settling in. Its arms are wide and soft enough to lean against, the two seat cushions are deep, and the two back cushions are large and loose, so it is as comfortable for sitting upright with a guest as for curling into a corner with a book.
Its look is quiet: rounded arms, plain panels and fine seams, with no piping, buttons or tufting, all in a moss-green weave that reads deep and muted rather than bright. Four short feet of pale solid ash sit under the corners, and the back wraps round in one rounded line, so the sofa can stand out in a room as easily as against a wall.

A Softly Rolled Arm
Up close, the top of each arm rolls softly over to the outside, and one fine seam outlines its flat front face. The moss-green weave is tight and flat, with fine lighter flecks running through the green.
Four Loose Cushions
Two seat cushions sit side by side on a plain base, with two large back cushions above them. The back frame runs level with the arms and curves around the rear corners in one unbroken line.
