Close-set vertical flutes run across the 46-inch headboard and continue around the side and foot rails, all in solid rubberwood and plywood with a deep walnut finish that lets the grain show. Short block feet at the corners keep it grounded, and wooden slats on a center support carry the mattress with no box spring needed.

Fluted Walnut Finish, Up Close
Close-set vertical flutes run across the headboard and wrap the rails, finished in a deep walnut tone that lets the rubberwood grain show through. At each corner, the flutes turn around a softly rounded edge.
Low and Grounded
The rails stand 11.81 inches high on short block feet set in at the corners, so the bed sits close to the floor. The flat 46-inch headboard is framed by a narrow upright at each side.

Planning tip. At 80" W x 84.2" D (203 x 214 cm), allow about 30" (75 cm) at the sides and foot, so roughly a 12 × 10 ft (3.6 × 3 m) room. The 46" (117 cm) headboard needs clear wall, so check any window sill behind it, and the rails are a low 11.8" (30 cm), so a lower nightstand suits it.
