The good plates, the linen napkins, the candles, the board games that come out at the holidays: a dining room collects things, and they all need a place. The Margot gives them one, behind three plain doors, with the top free for a lamp, a bowl of fruit or the coffee things.
It is a simple mid-century cabinet in rubberwood and plywood with a dark walnut-brown stain. Curved pulls are cut into the door edges, so the front stays clean, and four angled, tapered legs lift it off the floor for a light outline.

Notch Pulls, Clean Fronts
Curved finger pulls are cut into the edges of the doors, so there is no hardware on the front. The walnut-brown stain and NC lacquer let the rubberwood grain show.
Three Doors, Three Shelves
Behind the doors are three separate compartments, each with one adjustable shelf, for dinnerware, linens, bottles and games. Magnetic catches keep the doors closed.
Mid-Century on Tapered Legs
A low base frame and four angled, tapered legs lift the 60-inch cabinet for a light outline along a dining room wall or behind a sofa. It is rated for up to 280 lb.
