Some pieces earn their place by doing a little of everything. The Turenne is a seat when a friend pulls up, a footrest at the end of the day and a small table for a book or a cup of tea beside a favorite chair.
It is made of two simple forms. A round seat in ivory white bouclé, softly domed on top and curved like a bowl underneath, sits down into a cross of flat rubberwood boards in a warm natural finish. The tops of the boards are cut to cradle the seat and hold it in place.

The round seat curves underneath like a bowl and sits down into a cross of flat rubberwood boards. The tops of the boards are cut to follow its curve, so the seat looks held rather than perched.
