- Solid Acacia Top: The 70.8" x 35.4" top is solid acacia built from short staves in a warm brown finish, lighter and darker pieces and small knots side by side, with softly rounded corners.
- Four Splayed Legs: Four tapered solid acacia legs stand at the corners and lean gently outward, toward the ends and toward the sides, for a light, steady stance.
- Open End Frames: At each end a slim rail runs a few inches below the apron, leaving a long opening with rounded ends that curve softly into the legs.
- One Centre Stretcher: A single slim stretcher runs lengthwise down the middle of the table, 23" (58 cm) off the floor at its underside, so both long sides stay open for chairs and knees.
- Room for Six: With 26.25" (67 cm) from the floor to the underside of the apron and 60.5" (154 cm) between the legs at the floor along each side, it seats six and holds up to 280 lb (127 kg).

The story
A warm wooden table for six, for weeknights and long Sundays.
Most of a table's life is ordinary: breakfast in a hurry, homework spread out until supper, a late meal for two, and now and then six around it with the conversation running long. The Boissière is sized for that life, 70.8 inches long with room along both sides and at each end, and open under both long sides so chairs slide right in.
Its top is solid acacia, short staves in a warm brown finish with lighter and darker pieces side by side, and its corners are rounded off. Underneath, four splayed legs, a long rounded opening at each end and a single stretcher down the middle keep the base light to look at and steady in use.

The Boissière table is a slab of warm acacia on a light, splayed base. Three details give it its character.
Acacia Staves, Rounded Corners
The solid acacia top is built from short staves in a warm brown finish, lighter and darker pieces side by side, with small knots left in view. Its corners are softly rounded and its edges eased.
Open Ends, One Centre Line
At each end a slim rail runs below the apron, leaving a long, round-ended opening. One stretcher joins the two end rails down the middle, so the base reads as an H from above and the long sides stay open.
Dinner for Six
At 70.8 by 35.4 inches and 29.4 inches high, it seats six, with 26.25 inches of clearance under the apron. Chairs are sold separately; the Boissière dining chairs belong to the same collection.

No, chairs are sold separately. At 70.8" (180 cm) long and 35.4" (90 cm) wide, the Boissière seats six. The Boissière dining chairs belong to the same collection.
What is it made of?
The top and legs are solid acacia in a warm brown finish. It is put together with mortise-and-tenon, dowel, groove and corner-block joints, glued and screwed.
How much room is there for knees and chairs?
