- One-Piece Seat and Back: The seat curves straight up into a gently reclined back in one continuous upholstered shape, with a fine sewn seam along its edges.
- Cream Cotton-Linen: The upholstery is a 55% cotton, 45% linen weave in pale cream with fine flecks, and the back of the chair is covered in the same fabric.
- Mitred Side Frames: On each side, a rail meets the front and back legs in crisp mitred corners with soft curves beneath; the front legs lean slightly forward and the back legs slightly back.
- Rubberwood Frame: The frame is solid rubberwood and LVL in a warm brown finish, joined with mortise-and-tenon, dowel, groove and corner-block joints.
- Set of 2: The price is for two chairs, packed together in one box. Each chair holds up to 260 lb (118 kg) and weighs 15.75 lb (7.1 kg).

The story
Two soft, simple chairs for everyday meals and long conversations.
A dining chair gets sat in more than almost anything else in the house: at breakfast, through homework, for the last cup of tea after everyone else has gone to bed. The Boissière keeps you comfortable through all of it, with a seat that curves straight up into a gently reclined back and a soft cream cotton-linen cover.
Underneath, an open frame of rubberwood in a warm brown finish does the work: crisp mitred corners at the top of each side, a soft curve beneath, and legs that lean gently forward and back. The chairs come as a pair, the price is for both, and they belong to the Boissière collection.

The Boissière chair is one soft shape on a simple wooden frame. Look closer and three choices stand out.
Cream Cotton-Linen, One Shape
The seat and back are one continuous shape in a pale cream weave of 55% cotton and 45% linen. A fine sewn seam follows its edges, and the back of the chair is covered in the same fabric.
Mitred Corners, Open Base
On each side, a rubberwood rail meets the legs in crisp mitred corners with a soft curve beneath. The front legs lean slightly forward, the back legs slightly back, and nothing runs between them low down.

A 17.25-inch seat height suits a table about 29 to 30 inches high, such as the Boissière dining table. The price covers two chairs, packed together in one box.
