The Boissière Counter Stool is a plain, low-backed seat on an open wooden frame. Three details give it its shape.
Mitred Corners, Rounded Edges
Where each leg meets its side rail, the joint is a crisp diagonal mitre, and the inside corner below it is softly rounded. The legs' edges are eased, and the walnut-brown finish lets the rubberwood's open grain show.
One Shell, Seat to Back
The seat and the low back are a single upholstered shell in charcoal grey woven polyester. A fine seam follows its side edges, and the back rises 11 inches above the seat with softly rounded corners.
Made for the Island
With its seat 25 inches high, it suits a standard 36-inch kitchen counter, and the top of its back sits just below the counter top. It is sold singly, so you can order as many as your island needs.
