- Bouclé and Reeded Headboard: Two padded panels in white bouclé, each with rounded inner corners, frame a centre band of fine vertical acacia reeds. The headboard stands 51" (129.5 cm) high.
- Sand-Wash Acacia: The frame is acacia in a pale sand-wash finish, wire-brushed so the grain stands up softly under your hand.
- Deep Box Rails: Plain, deep rails wrap the mattress on three sides with softly rounded corners. There is no tall footboard, so the foot of the bed stays open.
- Sculpted Legs: Two flat slab legs, each curving in toward the floor, carry the foot of the bed; at the head, the headboard posts run straight down to the floor.
- Made to Carry a King: Wood slats rest on a metal centre beam with a centre support leg. The inner size is 77" x 81" (196 x 206 cm), and the frame is rated for up to 800 lb.

The story

Some bedrooms are only for sleeping. Others hold the slow part of the day: coffee in bed, a few pages of a book, the light moving across the wall. The Ranelagh is made for the second kind, with a headboard tall enough to lean back against and soft enough to want to.
Two padded panels of white bouclé sit either side of a centre band of fine acacia reeds, their inner corners curving away from each other. The frame is acacia in a pale sand-wash finish, wire-brushed so the grain shows, with deep rails, rounded corners and two sculpted legs at the foot.

Bouclé Panels Around a Reeded Centre
Two padded panels in white bouclé fill the headboard. Their inner corners curve away from each other, opening a centre band of fine vertical acacia reeds that runs from the top rail down to the mattress.
Deep Rails, Sculpted Legs
Sand-washed acacia rails wrap the mattress on three sides with softly rounded corners. At the foot, two flat slab legs curve in toward the floor; at the head, the headboard posts run straight down.
