The story

Some chairs ask you to sit up straight. The Vivienne asks you to tuck your feet under you and stay a while, turned toward the fire, the window or the person across the room. It swivels a full circle, though you would never see how.
Its outline is two soft forms. A curved back wraps into short arms, and a deep, rounded seat projects in front of them, all in a warm oatmeal fabric woven with linen. A low steel base hides underneath, so the chair seems to sit right on the floor.

A Soft Oatmeal Weave
The Vivienne is covered in a warm oatmeal fabric woven from polyester, viscose and linen. Its fine, slubby texture is soft to the touch, and a thin self-welt traces the top of the back and the edge of the seat.
Two Rounded Forms
The curved back wraps into short arms, and the deep seat projects in front of them with softly rounded corners. Seen from the side, the two shapes fit together in one soft step.
A Turn You Don't See
A low black steel base sits hidden beneath the chair, so it swivels a full 360 degrees while seeming to rest on the floor. At 31 inches wide, it suits a corner or a pair facing a sofa.
