The story
For slow weekends spent stretched out at home.
Some weekends have no plan at all: a late breakfast, a film in the afternoon, a book that keeps you on the sofa well past dinner. The Alésia is made for those slow days, with a seat 23.25 inches deep and thick, rounded arms wide enough to lean on or rest your head against.
Its shape is simple and soft. The arms and back are drawn as rounded blocks, the seat and back split into two wide halves, and the whole sofa is covered in a deep green fabric with a soft, fine pile. A slim strip of dark wood is set into the front of each arm, and short black legs keep it low.
The design
Three details that make the Alésia.
The Alésia keeps its shape bold and its details small. These three things explain how it looks and how it sits.
Soft Green, Up Close
The Alésia is covered in a deep green polyester fabric with a soft, fine pile that shifts between lighter and darker green as the light moves. A slim strip of dark wood is set into the front of each arm.
Rounded Blocks, Split Seat
Thick arms with rounded edges meet a back that curves around the corners, and the seat and back are split into two wide halves. A solid wood inner frame sits beneath the upholstery.
Low and Generous
At 87.4 inches wide, the Alésia seats three and fits a main living-room wall. Its seat is 23.25 inches deep and 17 inches high, and short black legs keep it close to the floor.

Dimensions
Will it fit?
Planning tip. At 87.4" (222 cm) wide and 30.5" (77 cm) deep, the Alésia needs about 7.5 ft (2.3 m) of wall. Keep about 30" (75 cm) of walkway around it and any coffee table, and leave 16" to 18" (40 to 45 cm) between the seat and the table. With a 17" (43 cm) seat, a coffee table about 15" to 17" (38 to 43 cm) high sits comfortably in front of it.
