By the end of the day a bedside table collects a lot: a phone that needs charging, a watch, reading glasses, the book you're halfway through and the next one waiting. The Duroc has a place for each, with room on top, an open shelf in the middle and two drawers.
It is a solid, soft-edged piece in warm walnut veneer. The front posts are rounded, a slim lip along each drawer front serves as the pull, and the top drawer is lined with dark brown felt, with a cut-out at the back so a charging cable can reach inside.

A nightstand looks best when its top sits within a few inches of the mattress top, so measure your bed first; at 26.5" (67 cm), it suits a mid-height or taller bed.
