The story
For dinners that turn into long conversations.
The plates are cleared, the candles are low, and nobody wants to get up yet. The Jussieu is a chair for that part of the evening: arms to rest on, a back that curves around you and a padded seat that stays comfortable long after the meal is done.
Each arm is one curve of rubberwood in a light oak finish, running forward from the back and down into the front leg. The scooped back and the seat are padded with foam and covered in a beige, linen-look fabric, soft against the warm wood.

The seat and the scooped back are padded with polyurethane foam and covered in a beige woven fabric with a soft, linen-like texture. It wipes clean after dinner.

Each arm runs forward from the back, curves over and drops down to become the front leg, one unbroken line of rubberwood in a light oak finish. The back legs angle out behind.

A 19.29-inch seat height suits standard dining tables, and the seat is 20.47 inches wide and 19.29 inches deep. Each chair holds up to 250 lb. Sold in pairs; table not included.

Planning tip. Each chair is 23.23" (59 cm) wide and 23.43" (60 cm) deep, with a 19.29" (49 cm) seat height and arms at 25" (64 cm). Allow about 26" (66 cm) of table edge per chair, check the height under your table's apron if you want to push the chairs in, and leave about 36" (90 cm) between the table edge and the wall.
